I would pick Mildura as it seems like it would be less humid

Mildura. No snow, warmer winters, summer highs similar, and I prefer my rain to happen mostly in the cooler months.

I like the fact that Amarill0 gets some 50 thunderstorm days to break the monotony of continuous sun and heat in summer.

Mildura, warmer winters and no snow. I lived there a few years ago and found it to be a nice climate.

Probably Mildura, as the Amarillo sun stats will be too high and will need adjustment for comparison.
