Well, I've searched for this type of climate for a while now and wasn't able to find a place that fits into the criteria. On the world map of the Köppen-climate-classifciation one can find a small area in eastern siberia, which is shown in the colours of the DSD-climate type (1-3 summer-months above 10°C, coldest winter-month under -38°C and "s" for a summer-precipitation low (driest summer-month has less than one-third of the wettest winter-month precipitation)), but I wasn't able to find a town or anything like that or at least a meteorological station. Has anyone ever seen a climate on wikipedia or somewhere else that would fit into this Köppen-type? ... would be strange, if they created this climate-type without making sure that it exists at least in a very bounded area.

I doubt it. Seems like an unlikely combination. Though who knows, perhaps there's some place really obscure where it exists.

This is the closest I have found so far... Seymchan (urban-type settlement) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It meets the s requirement (April is more than 3 times drier than November) but just misses the d requirement by 0.5 degrees F. So Dsd probably exists, but not where there is a weather station.

Well, this is maybe the closest to Dsd, but only if you consider April (with an average temperature of -10.8°C ) a summer month... And since the actual summer months (which also have summer-like temperatures) are actually the wettest, it would be kinda strange to speak of that climate as a climate with a summer precipitation low (which is mainly the definition of Köppen's "s").

Seymchan does qualify as Dsc, but April is the driest month. Technically it's correct, since April is in the high-sun season, but it's not what you think of when you think of a dry-summer climate, and feels like cheating. Some parts of Alaska display a similar pattern. However, since it only misses the D_d threshold by 0.5C I'm sure there is a nearby location that does qualifies as Dsd, though I'd be surprised if there were any Dsd weather stations.

Given that it misses the cutoff by 0.5 degrees, I'm sure there are some periods in history in which it does qualify as Dsd.

It's fairly close (November has twice the precipitation of April) but unfortunately no.

This map has a small area of Dsd on it, so yes it does exist somewhere.

Oymyakon is almost Dwd, it's not even near Dsd.
