NYC- it would still offer a lot more variety than my current "blue-dome no clouds in sight" climate but offer cooler nights, some "low humidity days" along with some humid days, and at least a few decent thunderstorms while New Orleans would either be super hot and humid or thunderstormy with no breaks until fall.
Both of them are hot and really humid, so there's not a drastic difference. That said, I prefer NYC's summers - they're shorter and have more variation than New Orleans's.
