I guess that even though Floripa isn't too sunny, at least it (along with Rio de Janeiro) is sunnier than Santos, on the coast near Sao Paulo; right?

Is it fair to say that in the winter, when the average daily high in both Florianopolis and Gold Coast is about 20-21C, it's likelier to be a "cool" 20-21C in Florianopolis but a "warm" 20-21C in Gold Coast?
