I want to compare these American cities in terms of average monthly temperature for all 12 months. I'm not concerned with rain, snow, blizzards, tornados, etc but only average temperature per month.

Please post facts though and not opinions. These are the 11 cities I would like compared.

Atlanta
Boston
Chicago
Dallas
Houston
Los Angeles
Miami
New York City
Philadelphia
San Francisco
Washington DC

Coolest summers out of the bunch are in San Francisco, with summers in the upper 60s. If you want some snow and cold, you'll have to live with summers of upper 70s-lower 80s in Boston.

Miami is the only city on that list with a tropical climate.

I appreciate the responses. The answer was somewhat quite obvious as to which cities have the most oppressive heat with all 11 cities mentioned.

Therefore, lets just focus on LA, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta and
Miami. Which is the hottest out of these 5?

Obviously Miami, do you really need to ask? IMO, LA is the one with the most comfortable temperatures on a year-round basis.
