Horrible month -- worse than average in every category. Nothing good to say about it.
Sunshine was 11 hours below 30-year mean, but not far below longterm mean. Not a large deficit.
Not sure which site you're quoting re rainfall, but Gardens avge is 64, Aero 58. Again, not by any means a substantial deviation.
Since I suspect you're quoting the Aero (which appears in your newspaper) I can state that the mean temp was 0.2-0.3C above the average of 9.0.
I know you don't like the climate - you've made that abundantly clear - but there's no way you can rationally claim it to be "horrible" relative to the norms. Just won't wash.
