Wikipedia says Faisalabad (Climate of Faisalabad - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) gets 102mm of rain in July with an average low of 27.4. This is impressive, certainly. Would this make it by some definitions the hottest non-arid city in the world (at least for this part of the year, with a monthly daily mean of 32.3)? Is there anywhere with hotter overnight lows and equal or greater rainfall?

I would say perhaps Guayaquil in Ecuador (which is a coastal city not too far from Equator).

What about these year-round scorchers in Australia:

Wyndham, WA -

Marble Bar, WA -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marble...tralia#Climate

Fitzroy Crossing, WA
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fitzro...tralia#Climate

Death Valley has winters, whereas these places don't. And, not to mention, these places get humid heat in some occasions, which worsen the heat.

nope, when it comes to real feel it may be some city on the somali coastline or Djibouti...in fact Indonsia is a warm tropical county, but not as hot as let`s say the Phippines, Thailand or parts of India...just look at the averages there from late march into June! Outsside that superhot period the temp-humidity-ratio is just as high as in Indonesia!

, get over it, ive told you many times, ive backed my statements with data, and averages, you just refuse to accept them.

i think you as a native to SF bay area, view LA's Climate as entirely like the coast. LA and it metroplolitan area is a vast region of almost 20 MILLION people, it has climates ranging from 75 F average highs in August to 100 F average highs in August. simple as that, if you wont except 100 F days in summer in LA's hottwst regions and multiple 80 F + days in winter, you are just going to have to lie to yourself.

Inhabited city, I would say Mecca with 87.3F. But maybe a town in Sahara with low elevation can qualify.

They believe that it fake and made up, despite that it was in the shade and the temperature was recorded by a reliable, experienced observer. The annual mean temperature is 94°F, on par with Dallol. And this is an actual inhabited place of 9,674 people. The elevation is -878' below sea level, in the Berber depression. Strangely, this depression is sometimes covered with a cloud of dust, and has not been detected by satellites. This thriving community is one of the most prosperous little towns in the world. I am first to leak this information. I'll be on the run like Edward Snowden. The residents of N'Dusta will be very mad.

Spoiler
LOL, this is all fake.
"Dusta" means "lie" in Indonesian.

Edited. I was using accuweather with overinflated real feel. How can a cloudy 31C comes a realfeel of 45.
C ??. Very confused. And humidity was like 70%. Thats roughly 39C heat index with 25C dewpoint. Sorry.

Since last december I start using Wunderground, more accurate realfeel and conditions.

Niamey, N'Djamena, Bamako, Ouagadougou and Khartoum are renowned scorching capital cities year-round with an annual mean temperature close or equal to 30 °C. They don't experience any winter at all and monthly averages highs are between 30 - 35 °C in the least hot month and 40 - 45 °C in the hottest month.

Djibouti City, Berbera, Bosaso and Massawa in the Horn of Africa are also on the list with annual means above 30 ºC. The atmosphere is moist and the heat in completely unbearable day and night in all months. They all have a desert climate and rainfall is very rare over there. Such cities seems really hard to beat in terms of annual heat. It must feel like a pressure cooker.

There are other smaller cities or towns such as Timbuktu, Mali; Araouane, Mali; Agadez, Niger; Bilma, Niger; Faya-Largeau, Chad; Atbara, Sudan; Dongola, Sudan that rank as extremely hot year-round, but especially in the day where the annual averages high are around 37 - 39 °C . There are for example three towns called Matam, Kayes and Kiffa; which are respectively located in Senegal, Mali and Mauritania; that have annual means of 30 - 32 °C (some of the highest values in the world). If these spos were large urbanized cities, it would be well higher due to the urban heat island effect.
