Does that happen quite often in the Alaskan interior? So right now it's warmer over there than it is here in London.

In the last week of may it snowed at elevations as low as 500m in Italy, and it got down to 2C in the plains
A week after that we were boiling in 38C as usual

Unseasonably cold in the Cascades... Here's two forecasts. Highs in the 30s, and snow above 6,000 feet.

The Alaskan Interior indeed gets hot in the summer, but such a stretch of high 80s and low 90s as they have been experiencing is a bit unusual. Usually it is mid 70s with a few low to mid 80s in the mix.

I think it reached 22°C here a few times, some years ago. I fainted and had to be rushed to hospital.

It's been kinda chilly here in San Jose for the past week or so- highs only around 70 and lows around 50- this is more typical of late April/early May for us (back then we were having highs in the 90s!) Should be like highs in the lower 80s and lows in the upper 50s this time of the year. I'm not complaining as there is PLENTY of summer still left for the hot weather. Great walking weather but haven't been able to swim (community pool is NOT heated and open from May through October) in the evenings as it's too cool by the time I get off of work (in the 60s from 6PM to 9PM).

Alaska is warmer than my hometown this week! We've been struggling to reach 70 all week.

Nothing unusual here in S.FL with highs around 90 every day with the heat index of 100f.
