Look at how far the humidity is surging in the center of the country. Currently there are higher dewpoints at the ND/Canada border than in southern Louisiana.

81 in Brevard County FL?

And far south low humidity is surging on the east coast. Even DC is only 55°F. Rather quick change from the northern to southern border of Virginia. Southern California is still in the mid 60s, warmer sea surface temperatures must be helping. Another quick change from the coast to inland desert.

Dewpoints staying below 55 mostly. In fact.. My dewpoints here resemble NYC more than Danbury or Bridgeport which I am usually in between.

I am at 47°F

NYC Meteogram.. Since lunch yesterday dewpoints mostly below 50. Incredible.

Whoa. Nightly low was nowhere near dewpoint; urban heat island must have increased the difference. Berlin on the morning of July 4:

Weather History for Berlin Tegel, Germany | Weather Underground

low was 72°F, dewpoint 51°F.

Yeah, it felt drier than usual today. I guess because the wind was coming from the west out of Texas.
