I said 40s because it's low enough for your sweat to cooperatively evaporate but high enough that it doesn't feel every exposed mucous membrane is getting the life sucked out...

It feels dry-ish lately. Our last two mornings have been around 50°F, feels almost cold in my bedroom when I wake up. Dew point rises to 55°F in the afternoon.

The middle of the continent (directly north of the Gulf of Mexico) seems prone to swings to high dew points even far north. Quebec at the same latitude wouldn't get that sticky as often. The flow last summer might have done that, though since the southerly airflow was along the coast.
