My favorite climate is any that has 3000+ sunshine hours a year and has 3 or more months of tropical temperatures (by koppen's standards). Any climate with an average high temperature in any month of 98.6 F (37 C) or greater is too much. I also do not like climates with more than 3 months of below freezing high temperatures. My absolute favorite, if I had to choose, is Sacramento.

Sorry for reviving a long dead thread, but couldn't resist.

My favorite climate type is Dsa. There's not too much of it on Earth, but the best I've found is the small town of Mus, Turkey.

No direct snow data, but I guess there's a lot of it.
Csa climates that border Dsa are ok, too, I guess, so something like Ankara, Turkey is also fine.

Second favorite is Dfa and those exist in many parts of the world. Anything in the Midwest and the Northeast is ok.

Cwa is "the one and the only". Cfa coming behind it somewhere.

Aruba seems like the best summer climate.

For me the best are Af (or Am with short/not too dry dry season) climates in which the heat is slightly moderated either by the ocean or altitudes. Some examples are Tonga, Christmas Island, Nouméa, parts of Hawaii and Medellin.

A small town, really? It has an urban population of 80k?

It is a provincial capital in Turkey. And there are smaller provincial capitals than Muş in Turkey.

The population of Muş Province is 408.000 and Muş City is the administrative center of the Muş Province. Muş is actually a province in Turkey. The capital of the province has the same name as the province itself.

Northern Districts of Muş Province are higher elevated and colder than the provincial capital of Muş.

The type of climate in between full tropical and subtropical where there's enough temperature variation to keep things interesting but the winters are warm enough and the summers not overwhelmingly hot (35C+).
I'm not too bothered about rainfall in these sorts of climates because I know it wouldn't be made up of drizzle (like in London) but to keep me sane it should be moderate so anywhere between 25-70 inches. Lastly, sunshine hours shouldn't be below 2,300 hours.

A few cities come to mind:

Brisbane, Australia
Townsville, Australia
Maputo, Mozambique
Dodoma, Tanzania
Honolulu, Hawaii (even though it's quite dry, it's an amazing climate)
Miami, Florida
Concepcion, Paraguay
Bangalore, India

Southeast Brazil would be on this list but it's just too cloudy to be A grade.
