In the spirit of my popular continental to maritime climate scale thread I've created one climate but with six different precipitation patterns. Every climate has the same amount of precipitation but with this moved for every two months. It goes from bone dry to very wet while with the four wettest months, I have a lower diurnal range.

For the hours of sun every climate has around 2200 hours. The wet winter climates are more likely to be cloudy then the summer wet climates but they also have a lower percentage of overall sun. For the summer wet climates this is the opposite

I've thought of doing this without a cold winter and snow but there seems to be a lot of snow lovers on here, so it'll be interesting to see what the snow haters pick.

For myself I'll go with climate 1. I find this the best as I hate snow but like cool rainy falls. Climate 6 is also good to but the rainy season is too concentrated in the summer even if it gives the least snow.

I voted for two; I'd like snow in winter and thunderstorms in late summer. The best time to have a dry season is from March through early July so that way, you can enjoy cool to mild weather outdoor activities such as hiking, outdoor sports in early spring and then swimming and water sports in early summer. That being said, I'd wish the May and June temperatures were a bit warmer. My ideal climate would have a dry (but not bone dry cuz it would rain a couple of times a month) spring, early summer, and late fall with a heavy snow season in mid-winter and a heavy thunderstorm season in late summer and early fall. Here it is:

Climate 2: May, June, July are my 3 favourite months of the year and I like them DRY so I can enjoy my summer if I have to suffer through 4 months of freezing temperatures.

Why am I not surprise that the snow lovers went for climate 3 as it has the most snow. I'm assuming that the snow haters would like climate 6 the best.

I DO love snow! But I chose 3 mainly because summer was the driest!
