Nah, it's not even going to be that cold. Maybe Scotland and Northern England, but the rest of the UK, including NI, still look pretty mild.

Thank God the cold they've had in the US wouldn't happen here. I'd never leave home!

Upper what? That chart shows 850hPa temps and sea level pressure. What are you on about? Flunk geography?
