What did SST's look like in late Feb in 1977 in NE Pacific? Hasn't this SST anomaly been there since last Spring?

Someone finally updated the snow gauge up town. It's showing just over 11ft for the season. That sounds about right considering what is piled up around here. Snow event took us off guard last night as they kept extending the snow advisory through out the day yesterday and then about 10pm last night turned it into a winter storm warning. It snowed and blew all night long.
I grabbed the usual picture out front this morning.
Grabbed a picture across the street to the doctors office.
Then later today I grabbed a webcam picture of the Mackinaw Bridge. It was closed down last night when the snow and wind got so bad, but today it doesn't look much better. I would have to have some serious life threatening business to tend to in order to get me to go across that when conditions are like this.
