You keep a big area shoveled early so you have room to put snow as the season goes on. It's like a tunnel to the door.

Rain here, not much snow. Mild gulf air taking over limits snow accumulation to 4" in NJ. So life goes on as usual and no need to panic.

I don't know where else to put this, but here are some chew toys for people who actually understand the weather. Posts #143, #148, #152 and #154 are good places to start. Please help. I don't like being ganged up on when I'm the credible one.

Anywhere from 6 to 12 for me, depending on whose prediction it is. But watch out. You guys could easily get more than 4 inches. Or not. We'll see.

It is supposed to be -5c tonight and it is still 2c.

I think my thermometer is either too high up or it overreads. All the other stations are much lower at 0c.

It's only 10 pm there so there are many hours left to reach the low. Are the skies clear? Any wind?

Just as projected days ago only difference is everything is faster in timing. Not sure exactly where you are but you might be on the border of getting 8 or 4. The cold air is getting pushed down mile by mile.

I know you're not Atlantic City but this was the consensus for NJ. Rain to start then the good stuff.

I've been posting updates on the Spring thread. I figure technically we're in March now so post there. lol I'll probably keep doing so.

No its clear.

It always does that here, it drops to about 20 minutes after sunset and then stops and rises like 2c until like 2am and then it drops like 4c.

I don't understand why it does that here. Anywhere else in the world it would just keep dropping all night.
