I don't know what the normal December high is in places like Daytona Beach, but it has to be less than 80 F in early/mid December:
Thats a good news ideed, I will be in South Florida for Christmas and NYE, would love to make these in the 80's

That German storm system will probably give us all kind of precipitation in one day. Started as hail in morning, then some tiny bit of snow, and now some ice/freezing drizzle. Rain expected in a couple of hours, turning to sleet and snow during the night.

Thought I'd bike to the center to get some supplies, but the streets are completely unbikeable as they're covered with ice.

I was there last December the whole month of December...it was really perfect weatherwise!

We had temps from 75 to maybe 82 F and sunny day after day. I was on the beach everyday. I hope the weather pattern holds for December.

I've thought about it, but I usually use the bus in January and February, so it would be mostly in December and early March when I really need them. When the weather gets really cold I gladly use public transport.
