In NOAA the average high of July in new york city central park is 84.9°F but the average high of july in NCDC is 84.1°F.

Yes , NOAA 1981-2010 and NCDC 1981-2010 but the average high is differents.

Maybe it has to do with the way the average? IDK.... But I think the official data is from the NCDC as it states on the bottom here

This website also has the NCDC as the official temps from Central Park. Looks like a bunch of months don't add up with the NWS site....

I don't know why the small discrepancy..... Looks as if there are some differences for Chicago as well.
Here is the 1971-2000 averages (taken off of the WGN Chicagoweathercenter site) compared with the 1981-2010 average for Chicago/Midway from NWS
NCDC says this for Midway and other Chicago stations:
To me, the 1971-2000 normals match more with the 1981-2010 NWS figures than the NCDC.
I'm stumped as to why

We would have to find the almanach of temperatures of NCDC and to calculate the average we even for July for example.
