And I never realized your weather was that consistent. Well, I knew. But it sounds so odd to me. The only reason you think an average is lying is because you think it should mean most temperatures are around the average.

The point is that it is not supposed to reach the dizzy heights of 18c if it has a cold winter!

It does not reach those temps here to April/mid march.

I mean what arctic country gets to 18c in the middle of January...

Even the people in minneapolis would laugh at a Chicago winter.
So? Fairbanks got to 52 (11c) in the middle of January in 2009.

Why isn't supposed to? Temperatures go up, they go down.

Why does that matter? And Northern Ireland should be some sorta gold standard?

A because 18c is warmish. Not cold.

You will find most cold places do not have highs at 18c in winter.

One more cool night in the Northeast (Sunday) thanks to another cold front dropping in. Then we start to moderate mid week.

But Lets hope the Euro is right.. for next weekend. Look at the Arctic Air bleeding down. Nice. 850 freezing line down to CT which will translate to widespread 30s at the surface for sure..

Almost -4C over the lake.
