neither because i dont live in America or north pole so it doesnt even affect me...
Amundsen-Scott is an American base located at the South Pole; I chose it over Vostok just because it's an American owned station and wanted to keep it fitting with the others in the American theme.
Here are two polls about outlier climatic events that haven't yet been recorded in their locations with a global focus;
As for me, I'd like to see a hurricane hit L.A. but only a low category 1, not the category 3 as in the movie Sharknado. I have too many family and friends in The L.A. area and I'd go down for a visit so I could experience the hurricane .

As a heat lover, I'd love to see Death Valley reach 140F.
My rankings from most likely to least likely:
1. NYC receiving no rainfall for a month, I think this is the most likely since it has happened before (June of 1949 at JFK Airport), and the lowest recorded amounts for all months are pretty close to zero.
2. 140F in Death Valley, I'm sure this has happened already in the hotter areas of the valley but have went unrecorded.
3. Record cold in Antarctica, just like with Death Valley, I think it has happened already, it just went unrecorded.
4. Minneapolis snow, it's possible, I'm sure an early cold snap in late August will cause a trace of snow to be recorded at some point in the future.
5. Los Angeles Hurricane, the odds are stacked against this one, too many obstacles.
