I have picked 2 real world climates; ONLY for those who are interested; choose to do one or more of these following options a) try to guess the location; I took both from real places but covered the location b) rate each climate separately and c) of course,, pick the one you'd prefer to live in.

No poll this time- post your response directly

1) Climate Number 1: see below

2) Climate Number 2: see below- I copied and pasted this from the data from wikipedia but am wondering how the records for August and September can be lower than the average high for that month and how the records from July, October, November, and December are the exact same temperature as the average high- any ideas?

Too bad you had climate 1 right.

As for the ratings, Climate 1 is A save for the record highs (which don't matter too much anyway), Climate 2 is a C.

Climate #1 is an F, not a Z or a Z-, winters are incredibly mild for the latitude but the so called summers are an anemic joke and barely warmer than the winters. The reason that it's an F and not a Z, is that it's not lethal or brutal and you can comfortably spend time outside year round if you dress warmly. It's depressing due the fact that is VERY VERY little sunshine (and 24 hours of total darkness in the heart of winter), the only place that I can think of that gets less sunshine than Climate #1, is my fictional climate of Fogopolis. http://www.city-data.com/forum/weath...desirable.html

Climate #2 is a solid C, I prefer more seasonal variation with much cooler winters but it seems fairly comfortably warm except for March through May which are too hot. My boss is actually originally from there (still not spoiling it for the people who want to guess but I'll give a hint that my boss is a different nationality than I am) and said they get awesome thunderstorms during the monsoons in late summers and early fall and their winters are very similar to my hometown's summers with warm days and cool nights and low humidity. Very livable climate but horrible for cold lovers.

Both are F climates. In #2 the monsoon makes it kind of interesting, but of course too warm year round. There is nothing good about #1, so I choose Climate Number 2.

I still think the true cold lovers (not seasons lovers), would still pick the anemic summers of #1 just to get a fix of "snow and cold" over the tropical savannah climate of #2. I am willing to bet good money on two forum regs in particular.
