I love seeing yours (and everyone elses) OBS, and I wish more of the forum discussed and provided forecasts for their dream climate. the reason I comment on yours is because of it's incredible extremity. Don't worry about the "boringness" of my climate; There's a forecast High of 72F this week followed a few days later by a Low of 17F and possible lake effect flurries

Ok, fair enough. Kind of was coming across as you just making snarky comments.

^ Nice!

Winter Haven got a big snowstorm earlier this week. About 12" fell and up to 15-18" in some of the northern suburbs, even up to 2 feet in isolated spots. Was followed by record cold. The 16th set a record for a daily low maximum of -10 F, smashing the old record of -2 F back in 1979. Also, April 17th set a new record for the latest -40 F temperature in WH history.

Today was much more seasonable. High hit 36 F in the afternoon with clear skies, and at 10 PM it's 20 F under clear skies, heading for a low of 13 F (-11 C).

Averages for 4/19 are 42/19, so it was still below normal today. Looking for a warm up next week, might push 55-60 F on a couple of days!
