23°F/-5°C and torrential freezing rain. Thunder can be heard in the distance.

The city of Northville has closed all non-vital government offices, schools, and workplaces.

I really need to stop getting confused and thinking this is the actual real weather conditions reports thread. I wondered what on earth Seattle was doing getting Freezing rain and thunderstorms seriously for some time.

Anyway in Coltingbury at 1:39PM:

12.7°C, the odd cloud (1% cloudy).
Dew: -2°C
Wind: NNW at 13mph

A cold day but warming up at the weekend.

26°F and heavy freezing rain. You can ice skate pretty much anywhere snow was cleared before the storm.

Sounds like your climate gets extreme ice storms. How does the city manage? Mine pretty much comes to a screeching halt.
