My (fznamznon's) fznamznongrad:

Ariete's City of False Light) (quite strange name by the way):

P.S. My choice is too obvious to vote.

I didn't come up with anything clever, so, The City of Light -> The City of False Light.

This is the final version, so you could change it while you still are able. My vote too is obvious:

My vote still goes to the City of False Light. I just noticed the highs there in August are warmer than in New Surrey!

fznamznongrad. Real winters (CFL's December looks wimpy).

Ariete's climate, because of warmer summers and less cold winters.

fznamznongrad is almost an A+ climate, while the City of False Light gets a B+

I just noticed that my dream climate is really great!

The last version as a reminder, ignore the OP's obsolete one:

They both have decent winters. Fznamznongrad's winters are slightly too cold while CFL's early winters are too mild. December is the worst month. An average low above freezing is terrible for that time of year.
While the difference between both is smaller in summer temp-wise, since they're close to my current summer, it still matters. Fzanmznon's record highs are ridiculously low to my tastes and averages are too cool. On the other hand, CFL's record lows, especially in early winter, are lackluster.
I prefer CFL's more contrasted sunshine distribution. I choose Ariete's climate.

Your record highs seem far too low. Even my home city has a record high temperature of 31C/88F for August, and that's with an average daily maximum of just 18C.

On the balance, I'd have to vote for Ariete's, even if December is rather too mild in that one.
