At Heathrow airport there used to be over 100 days a year with fog. Now the number has reduced to barely 20-30 a year.
More like 40-50 days using the >1000m threshold, until the clean air act was passed. I don't know how they measure fog on that site, their rain days look crazy as well.
Buenos Aires: nice summers.
Chicago: nice summers.
Hong Kong: nice summers.
We've had 6 days with fog this year here (fog defined as vis less than 1km). I don't think that's regular.
One of the foggiest places in the world is apparently in California, according to the article. SandyLuvsToTravel you're in luck!
Sure is! We can get those low-lying marine layers (here in SanDiego) off/on from March through June where it's damp, grey, and rather chilly. It's kind of nice though... those foggy mornings and curling mists make for some really beautiful photography, especially along rocky beaches
I can't say anything nice. I only like tropical climate and no one here lives in one.
You can say something nice about where I used to live then you noob Hawaii4evr (tropical BSh) and I (Af) are the only ones here from a tropical climate besides you. We're a lonely bunch, outcasts, rejects . Though either of us don't live in Honolulu/San Juan anymore. That leaves only B87 who lives in Brisbane (don't know if he is from Brisbane or London originally, though)

He lives east of the Rockies because the North Anerican Craton (Laurentia, where he says he lives) is east of the Rockies.
Back on topic, theunbrainwashed, I like how your winters are much better than mine.
Lol I'm sure he thinks it's fun having you guys keep guessing.
Thanks. Your summers are awesome, they are my favorite kind. A nice and mild mid 70s. Judging by the very low summer rainfall, the humidity must be low, too.
Until now I thought Laurentia was some place in Brazil
