The Northern Lights certainly put on quite a show for the photographers here:

and from one of my fave FB contacts...Chris Attrell from Shaunavon, SK.

He loves old abandoned houses, storm chasing, and auroras :

A couple more favourites:

I love his sense of humor

  1. When Severe Thunderstorms are unavailable in Saskatchewan, I shoot the aurora and use the force to beat on the coyotes and such.

Can I visit next summer? the northern lights look so cool but I could only go in the heart of summer or else i'd freeze.

Not as bright as some that were shot in Saskatchewan but it does show how they dance! And the music is fitting.

No I didn't. One of my facebook contacts did.

I'll get used to this quoting one of these days!

These are the lyrics:

Everything's Green Lyrics (by Wisdom Tooth)

We are closing the space between us
All year everything’s green
We are losing the ground between us
And I can walk down to Ocean Beach

Oh the midwest
To the winter you succumb
You are nowhere
And it’s your turn to newly become

And what would you go back to
No one lives in the place where they’re from
How you longed to hear
You are the only one

It’s a wild card
An unlikely turn of events
Well you’ve come this far
You can’t possibly be homesick yet

And where would you go home to
No one lives in the place where they’re from
How you longed to hear
You are the only one

Gorgeous day in Chicago... I took it off from work... Went fishing at Montrose Harbor on Chicago's Northside this morning. Snapped a great sunrise

And this was off the Montrose Harbor bird sanctuary today

My sister in law sent me these pics from London today. She is there with her husband for some kind of hair product show. They own shares in a hair product company....
