Mild SW winds are blowing in now, which is creating a lot of mist after a chilly start (4C) and cool day. It will probably turn foggy later or tomorrow morning.

The countryside between Rimini and Pesaro, Italy today October 16th.

In the city only horse chestnuts, lime trees and London planes are moderately brown and yellow, mainly due to heat and pollution stress, while poplars, oaks, figs, hornbeams, cherry trees, japanese persimmons and many other trees are still green.

An unusual sight this October. 20 minutes before, it was overcast and drizzling.

You got dirt roads out there, too! Anyhow, went for a bike ride on Tuesday and took a bunch of photos. Sadly, after weeks of sunshine almost everyday, it was mostly cloudy. Leaves were good, and I couldn't stop taking photos. Here's the first batch.

Nice dirt road there, then got annoying gravely for a couple miles.

Fall photo's huh? Pretty colors?

Here is a photo I took of my rain guage on 3 October, 2013. This is fall in Wyoming.

You'll notice the tree leaves are still green. We always said that in Wyoming, we have two seasons. Winter and road construction.

Snow, does NOT melt in Wyoming. The wind just blows it around until it wears it out.
