That street looks fairly nice, I like how NE suburban housing has a lot of character.

Looks nice and leafy when I lived in North GA that's what I liked about Atlanta, how green it is for a big city.

I think Owen is jealous of Winnipeg because of how cold it gets there, yet being at a lower latitude than NI.

Newer polish single homes residencial areas look like something like this https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Gdyni...52.46,,0,-2.37

but building apartment blocks like this - https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Warsa...9.79,,0,-10.23 are a lot more popular and cheaper

I live the Finnish housing styles - very cool. Would that be considered a rich neighborhood over there?

Ariete - are you familiar with Hancock, Michigan? It's the only place in the US that has a significant Finnish population, thought that was pretty interesting when I visited in July. The climate of the 2 places is pretty similar I imagine.

This is my house. My kids forced me to put up some Halloween decorations. You can't really see them other then the lights in this pic. House is nearly 60 years old. Half brick half frame....

This was house when I lived in the city.... It was your typical Chicago style-bungalow. Built in the 1920's. Had a lot of character, too bad I couldn't live in the city anymore. No way I would send my kids to a Chicago Public School.
