Because 93 with a heat index probably in the 100-105 range is SUCH pleasant weather right? These are the same people that when it's 50 degrees they say it's too cold
I've lived in San Antonio and Houston the last 5 years
for some reason they call 50s cool weather as if we lived in Nebraska.

So we clearly disagree on this one.

50s is cool weather, considering the average winter lows in Houston and San Antonio are in the low 40s, I don't see how 50s would be called "cold", maybe if it's unseasonably cool I would get it more.

If 50s were to happen anytime outside of October- April, than yes I can see how it would be cold.

Damn man sorry to hear that :/, I had a similar situation this summer. I had a GF when I lived in Miami and she was gonna move up here with me to Tallahassee and everything, but things didn't work out at the end. But hey maybe you can retire in Miami some day , just know if you do, try to stay in Broward County, Dade County has some really dangerous neighborhoods to avoid, in fact some of the most dangerous neighborhoods in all of the U.S are in Dade County, Broward County has a lot of areas to avoid as well, but not nearly as bad. Palm Beach is pretty bad as well.
I don't post crap on here.

Exactly. This isn't a forum for calling what other people post being crap. I like how there different people have different tastes, I can't imagine if more heat lovers moved to the already over-populated tropics, or vice versa.

Ratings grab. Happens here frequently too! Naturally I go to the statistics page - after hearing reports of such - and Facebook publicly, on their page, the correct values!

I don't really care if you're a heat lover, but when you comment on the thread something that's not even on-topic "95 F is comfortable, blah blah blah" when the point of the topic is not whether or not certain people find it comfortable but more about media bias towards warm/hot weather, then yes the post is crap. I would find it just as ridiculous if a meteorologist were to call 20 F "pleasantly cool weather to be outside" when I know that 90% of people would find it unpleasant, just doesn't seem like something a meteorologist especially a TV one should do.

And when you start saying that dewpoint in the 90s must be awesome (when in reality they're lethal) because dewpoints in the 70s are nice, then yes the posts do start to get a bit crappy.

I hate that!

Just now in the news the hosts were happy and celebrating than on thursday the temp is gonna be 27c! "what a wonderful weather well have on thursday and on (on the weekend temps will get close to 30c)", i mean, we are in FREAKING winter and the weather we are having is super nice and comfortable. Today, for example, temp is 13.2c, sunny, and calm. Its not like we are having snow here and those temps will make us escape the "unbearable cold" or anything. We are having comfortable days but all the sudden having 30c in winter is the only nice and comfortable possibility? COME ON

I don't argue there are people who can enjoy hot weather but I'm not one of them. I want to live where temperature never or very rarely exceeds 30C! However, I still need some warm weather, but for me it means temperatures from 20C to 26C, I virtually can't enjoy higher temperatures.
