Also, it would be great if someone could explain to me how to use the wikipedia weather boxes. I am new to this, but I thought this was a realistic cfa/dfa border climate that would fit somewhere in the US Midwest or East Coast.

This is very similar to my current climate, I give it a D also. Far too cold in the winter, somewhat weak summer, no proper wet season, prefer sun to peak in spring instead of summer.
