I don't understand why people think only daytime maxes matter. Nighttime lows are just as important.

Ah, so using only the highs is ok when you want it, right?

La Coruna has shorter days in summer, and the sun will be much stronger, so will undoubtedly feel warmer. Not to mention the warmer nights and higher humidity.

Keep clutching at those straws.

And all palm trees look out of place away from the coast in the UK. Especially in grey old London. Not only the climate, but they don't fit in with the architecture.

Well everyone ignores the means when it makes London warmer (eg in winter vs US cities), so what's the problem?

Oh behave. You're the one that constantly ignores means. If La Coruna had warmer highs, yet lower means than London, you'd be the first to mention it.

Actually I wouldn't, as I rarely mention the mean temps.

He uses mild nighttime lows as an argument for London all the time, yet in this case only daytime highs "matter".

Yeah, only when people say rubbish like NYC winters not being noticeably cooler than ours. In that case, the days are colder as well, just the nights are even more so.

I guess I should just leave the forum then, if you're going to moan every time I ever post anything involving palm trees, or anything really? Seems like everyone just wants to bait me and then not let me explain myself.

**** off.

No, what's rubbish is you acting like NYC is soooooo much colder than London. When people say NYC and London wouldn't feel so different, it's due to the higher and stronger sun in NYC making the difference feel less than it is. You always love to call NYC or Boston "bitterly cold" or other dumbass adjectives like that.

Perhaps you should leave the forum. The only person who "moans" here is you when it's anything London related. Also, you constantly whine about getting called out when everybody on this goddamn forum gets called out from time to time and they don't ***** and moan nearly as much as you about it.

I call anyone out that I think is saying something stupid. Grow some balls and stop whining about being called out. Also, you reach for straws with every argument. "London didn't get 98 hours, it got 101" lol. Yeah what a huge difference.

Whoops, I didn't realise that La Coruña is that cool in summer.

Well, anyway, palms have no place in cities like London, Amsterdam or Copenhagen. Or NI like in the photo I posted!

We had 216 hours of sun in June, it was way cloudier than normal.
