The USA because it is lucky enough to include Florida.

And a gazillion other climate zones which don't interest me but lots of people love.

FL is a small part of a huge country with mostly continental climates. Way too much of the USA is just one big continental climate with either very hot summers or just warm to hot summers. Most of the South is a weird combination of subtropical/continental with extreme winters thrown in every once in a while.

I crave winter temp stability, and it is almost non-existent in the eastern 2/3 of the US.

Not Canada, that's for sure. As much as I enjoy the weather here, climatic diversity is one area we're definitely lacking in.

Australia and Mexico are my two favorites because both have a wide range of subtropical and tropical climates; with dry, mesic, wet, and seasonally-variable precipitation regimes. If you add in temperate climates and remove tropical climates (beyond small litorals): then I vote for the U.S. and Argentina because of a similar variety. Honorable mention: China, India, South Africa, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile.

I gotta say Mexico is better than Chile. Much of Mexico is subtropical highland, which is my favorite climate type along with a (sub)tropical oceanic climate. If only Mexico wasn't a ****hole on our southern periphery

China would have to be right up there, from southernmost tropical to the Gobi to Tibet and continental north. It is debateable if it is true tropical in the far south.
Another interesting option - Ecuador, even more diverse if you add the Galapagos Islands.
