Couldn't you take the bus instead? I'm sure BA's bus routes follow the subway lines

Wouldn't the first day of spring be 21 September, the same time we start Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere? Unless astronomy is different in the Southern Hemisphere.

Last year the first 30's came in November. Now, in this year, two months earlier!

Yeah, but bus takes 1 hour what subway takes 20 minutes.

And the bus is crowded anyway

I returned a while ago in a crowded bus with no windows (windows too high to even open) or A/C and thats what even worse than the hellish subway ride i had at 6 pm

what a HORRIBLE NIGHT.

Its 10 pm and temp is 27.4c, this is a typical SUMMER night, i wanna cry and stop crying next June

It's not about astronomy. A lot of people (including me) consider June a winter month, for example, because it's the second coldest month of the year, even if it's 70% in autumn. September is 70% in winter but it's warmer than May, June, July and August, so for most of people we're already in spring.

For me is something like this: November, December, January, February and March = summer (months average 20șC or more). April and May = Autumn (between 14.5 and 18șC). June, July, August = winter (less then 14.5șC). September and October = Spring (between 14.5 and 18șC).

Pretty hot here also, maximum today is 31.3C so far, and it's only 1pm so it will probably get hotter. Quite possible it will exceed 30C for the next 5 days as well.

Stormy weather today. Strong wind, heavy bursts of rain and regular thunder over the last 18 hours. There was lightning this morning, in bright sunshine - an odd combination. Some decent rainbows too.

Up to 19C/66F this morning, but back down to 16C/60F now (4.45 pm) The rain is really setting in now.
