Looks like a very grim week ahead. I anticipate I'll be spending a lot of time mowing the lawn after this:

We had an amazing storm last night in Brisbane. In fact, as I type, another one is passing over.

Here are a couple of shots I took from our veranda, just before the intense rain and wind swept over! This morning, it was bright and sunny - like it never happened

Some light drizzle around earlier this afternoon with a weak cold front but not enough to register in the Perth Metro rain gauge. Pleasantly cool and cloudy atm and 20C.

It is now the 35th day in a row without recorded rainfall (last rain was on October 19) and it looks likely that this month will end up being the warmest November on record as well as the first with nil rainfall since 1917.

Oppresive day in Buenos Aires. Daily extremes were 21.0C / 32.1C, very high for november, yet far from the records and not overly hot for the summer, but it felt very unconfortable today. High humidity and cirrustratus clouds creating diffuse radiation did not help. Hopefully a good thunderstorm hits the city the next hours. The following days are expected to be much cooler. Around the country, highest over 40 were back (Orn 40.6C).

Looks like we're in for a good drenching in this area over the next few days.

My irrigation dam was washed out a few months ago, so rain is good.

Holy crap, how is it possible a climate at 38 S (at sea level!) has a near freezing night in mid-Summer? Is that due to the cold ocean and dry air?
