E. It's not the cloudiest major city in the world though, that's Chongqing.

B. Year-round sweater weather sounds great to me. I'd give it an A if it had more sunshine.

For its latitude Glasgow climate is not that bad. I don't think many places as north as Glasgow get as mild winters. The bad points are the lack of sunshine and bad summers but winters are quite good.

C-. Not my cup of tea. Too cold and grey.

It does have impressive rainfall by UK standards.

For its latitude I guess it's not so bad. Certainly beats the snot out of Schefferville (P.Q.) which is roughly the same distance from the equator.
On the other hand I am not enamored of a climate that has rain on more days of the year than not, summers that rank no better than a Willamette Valley April, and annual sunshine numbers anemic enough to tempt me into buying stock in companies that manufacture vitamin D.

For Scotland, Probably O.K, C+ or thereabouts. For the rest of the world, a solid D.

The thought of living in a climate as bad as Glasgow's makes me feel sick. Here in southern England it's hardly tropical, but at least we get reasonably sunny summers.

I'll give it a very generous E.
