The autonomous Åland Islands are the westernmost and the most maritime part of Finland (except for some small islands in the Baltic).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%85land_Islands

The capital is Mariehamn, and the weather station is located in Jomala, some 5km inland from the city centre. Despite being in Finland, the only official language on the islands is Swedish.

I don't have any interest in editing wikipedia right now, so I will only paste the climate box. Note that the record temps are also from the 81-10 period only. Not surprising, the only reading below -30C was from that terrible January of 1987.

Fire away.

I'd give it a B. Maybe closer to a B- in reality. Pros are the pleasant summers, even if they're not all that warm. Judging by the winter temperatures and precipitation, I expect that there would be reliable, lasting snowfall, which would be a good point.

Yes there is, but for a short period of time on Finnish standards. The permanent snowpack starts to form in mid-January and is usually gone by mid March.

I expected winter highs to be a little bit lower, but it's decent. Seems like the islands get surrounded by ice during Feb/March. A from me.

Finland is blessed, in that even the most maritime location has sufficiently cold winters and a record low in the -30s. Speaking of winter, it's too laggy and spring is way too chilly, leading to subpar summers. Precipitation is too low but sunshine is good.

It's a C.

D for me. Way too cold. Sunnier than I would have thought though, which stops it from being a D-
