Completely random day by day.

Otherwise it would be very boring.

Early afternoon. Then the sun would come out and it would get really warm right after it rains.

I like to be surprised, so I pick the random option.

Noon/Afternoon for me. Helps keep the heat at bay, if only for a little while. Attends to thirsty plants.

Noon/Afternoon to cool off a bit Mornings are cool enough most of the time anyway and evenings should be a little bit sunnier to see some sunsets... And night-rain isn't that good cause it can't really cool off then...

This Summer we have had more rains, hard rains, here in SW Florida than I can ever remember. They generally come in late afternoon, and really only cool things down a bit before it turns into humidity again.

I voted for late evening. I love the sound of rain at night, and it doesn't get in the way of any outdoor activities that you plan earlier in the day.

Overnight - sometime around 2-3 am, when it won't bother me, or I won't care, except maybe weekends, when I get up later, and I'd like to be just after dawn.
