Both climates are pretty bad. But I go with St Johns.

St. John's. More comfortable winters and summers.

I didn't have to look at the data. St. John's of course - one of the top 5% of cities when it comes to climate.

Well, this one is really hard to choose, but i think I'll actually go with St. John, even though the winter temperatures of Barnaul are nearly perfect. I simply like the more maritime character of St. John's climate, although the rainfall in winter is definetely way too high. It's only that the summer temperatures of Barnaul are way too warm, while St. John's summers are almost perfect....

Barnaul by far. Its climate is nearly identical to that of my hometown (Saskatoon) and although winters are too cold and long it's still a tolerable climate for me. St. John's on the other hand has one of my absolute least favorite climates in Canada.

Difficult one, but St John's for the winter snowfall and because Barnaul's winter temperatures are rather too cold.

Barnaul. An easy decision. I'm not going to vote for somewhere that gets the same sunshine as my home town but with much more rain, rain days, wind and fog

Even though Barnaul has extremely cold winters I bet winters feel much colder and more unpleasant in St John's due to the wind chill and dampness.

Barnaul, hands down. St Johns gets regular snow in June. Who would want to live in such a climate???
