Probably New Zealand and it goes to show. You'd think that month would be warm but like one day it was 5c and it only dropped to 0.5c. So just goes to show .
Lol, definitely not warm. The two months were very windy with a wind gust of 94mph in January and 98mph in February. Probably felt very cold on some days!

Goes to show that there is more to it when it comes to mins.
Has anyone on here in a maritime climate ever gone an entire winter month without a frost? Church Fenton never has - but Leeds Weather Centre didn't fall below freezing at all in Jan/Feb 1990. It fell below freezing in November, December, March and April though (89/90).
Yep, August in Nelson was frost free, probably due to the cloudy conditions. It's quite common for Nelson to have frost free months and some nearby areas would only get frost once every few years. Motueka had 5 air frosts by comparison

This stop on coastal BC didn't get a frost last winter:
Well theres parts of Ireland like that.. like the south western parts which are surrounded by water. I am sure they have had months of double figures in the winter before.
It's quite a bit colder here though, I am probably the coldest place.
