Lol, definitely not warm. The two months were very windy with a wind gust of 94mph in January and 98mph in February. Probably felt very cold on some days!

Not in the british isles above a certain latitude. Like the hebridies would have more snow days than me. Although it would last longer here.

Yep, August in Nelson was frost free,probably due to the cloudy conditions. It's quite common for Nelson to have frost free months and some nearby areas would only get frost once every few years. Motueka had 5 air frosts by comparison

Well theres parts of Ireland like that.. like the south western parts which are surrounded by water. I am sure they have had months of double figures in the winter before.

It's quite a bit colder here though, I am probably the coldest place.
