For a warm/mild lover, yes. It combines 'decent' summers similar to what you would expect in the English Midlands, but with higher sunshine and a Mediterranean rainfall pattern.
Not sure which climate I'd consider the best. Places like Braemar have good winters, but even I would prefer warmer summers and more sunshine. My current location is alright - somewhat snowy winters by low-level UK standards, warm summers with some +30C temps for interest, and some thunderstorms.
Yes, I think latitude is overlooked by some, when considering Oceanic climates. NW Europe and the PNW are the most well known Cfb climates, but a study of them, will reveal very little about the climate here.
Even the main reason for the climate being similar between those regions and here, is generally not considered. That is - that NZ is moderated to being colder than one would otherwise expect and the other two regions, are moderated to being warmer.
Yes, New Zealand is often compared to other oceanic climates; they're rather different. New Zealand might be comparable NW Spain and has some similarities to California, but only in a few ways.
B. I may be biased because I live here, but it isn't bad considering the rest of the UK. It misses out on an A though as it's still a little too cold for me in the winter

And a high of 71F in summer is too cool for me. D for this one.
I think you mean flora
But that certainly isn't a typical scene here for May, if it was even actually from May, trees are not bare here then so Looking at my stats from May 2012 the average high was 19.3C average low was 11.4C, Max was 28.6C & Min was 5.7C. Rainfall was 39.2mm...
And the figures are from the old Met Office station which was situated on the seafront, so the summer highs are a little lower than even a few hundres yards further inland & in the core of the city itself. Where I live is around 1 mile inland & my averages are higher...

Portsmouth will feel more summery than areas further inland due to more abundant sunshine and considerably warmer nights. Whether the average maximums are slightly below 22C or not is absolutely irrelevant, unless you're an annoying troll such as yourself..
I always laugh at people who say we have no summer.. I'd like to see them come here all bundled up in coats because it's soooo cold at 22C, when everyone else is in T-shirts and shorts enjoying the pleasant weather like normal people.. lol. People on here do make me laugh.
I'm a troll because I feel that those temperatures are not my idea of summer. I can't have an opinion? But others who have the opinion that Chicago's winters horridly cold are not trolling right? We are here to express views on climate. Live with it.

Btw,
I didn't create that jpeg.
People can express opinions in an non-provocative manner. You're clearly trying to rile people. Probably in retaliation to what flamingGalah said about Chicago's cold winters.
I've seen that image before - to refer to the recent cold summers, not an average summer.
