I deffintly prefer a cold rainy day since it's not snow. Having said that I don't like cold rain, too much danger of changing to snow.

I really don't like the wind, especially cold one, so I will say snow. I am a summer person, but snow has something calming. I love when I walk in winter and I can hear the crunching of the snow under my feet.

Snow is almost always best. The only exception would be if there had already been snow on the ground for months and I was getting bored of it. That would never happen where I live, of course.

It depends what I'm doing.

On holiday, I would like snow and lots of it.

For work or around here, I would take rain, A lot easier to work in and it wont stick around.

Snow for sure. Cold rain is possibly my least favorite weather. Wet snow can get you as wet as cold rain though if you aren't dressed right.

Mainly because, however nice snow looks, it messes with roads, transport and services here in the UK

Snow for me because I can take the dogs out and have fun. Heavy rain and cold, cannot do that.

I'd take the snow. Cold rain feels worse in my opinion, especially if it's windy. I remember having to wait over an hour for a bus (yet NYC transit is the "best", supposedly ) on a rainy and windy 45 degree (7C) day, that was easily the most miserable I've felt in any weather. I was appropriately dressed, but I was drenched and frozen from head to toe. So I could never vote for cold rain, I'd rather it rain hot tub water.
