I'll choose Helsinki between the too. The climate looks very balanced between summer and winter. I like its climate a lot. The only thing that would improve it would be hotter summers.

The summers are indeed lame, but that's the reality in most of Northern and Central Europe.

But they're becoming warmer and nicer, here's the averages I calculated from 1991 to August 2013:

I am surprised that Helsinki is that sunny. It is actually sunnier than the whole of Germany and the UK.
The climate data of Helsinki does not provide the average precipitation days which is a crucial assessing factor for me.
The only down about Helsinki is that summers are a bit cool for my taste. London has the ideal one but then the sunshine is a big issue there, the humidity levels are too high as well. I would have to go for London though, mainly for its warmer summers that are similar to those in Seattle and suit me best.

Helsinki is the clear winner for me. Winters in Helsinki are decently cold. Snowfall is a little low though. Helsinki barely gets more snow than we do in an average winter. Either way, it's still the clear winner over London in this respect. Summers in both seem equally pleasant.

That would be 111 days for Helsinki Center and 115 days for the airport. Helsinki is not as humid as London, but still in the 70's % in the summers and around 90% in winter. May is the only month that is below 70% average humidity.

115 days is a good number. If only summers are a bit warmer, I would have voted Helsinki. It was really tie this time!

Well, I dont know... London probably. But overall talking about Helsinki climate Id say those climate there is the worlds best- for its latitude ;-)with summers being warmer than in Scandinavia and with winters being not as frosty as they are in Northern Russia, and siberia.
One should check weatheronline.co.uk climate robots
