A follow up to this thread of Summer Stats:

Hoping to see some interesting stats worldwide for the months of Sept-Nov.

I'll start with one fresh in mind....

Impressive stat for Mt Washington, NH. The low of 19 yesterday (Sept 16th) is the lowest minimum temp for the month of Sept in over 8 years. Possibly longer since I only have records to 2005.

Number of times they've gotten into the 20s in September

2005: 5
2004: 9
2006: 5
2008: 3
2009: 4
2010: 4
2011: 4
2012: 11
2013: 8 so far

The temperature reached 36.2 C (97 F) on my area last Friday. This is the latest into the year that the temperature has reached 36 degrees in Canada (I think). Daily Data

In many locations within BC, last week's heatwave was the hottest temperature ever recorded in September.

High of only 9.4C in Buenos Aires yesterday. This is the lowest high ever recorded for the second half of September and the second latest below 10C max into the year ever recorded.
And on 10/9, we had 35.3C, wich was the record max for September and May, June, July, Agoust, September and October combined.
