131 days here in miami with an avg of 36 days of "significant precip"(atleast.5in(13mm)), 18 days recording at least an inch(25.4mm), 5 days per year seeing at least 2in of rain and 2 days per year that see "torrential rainfall" (at least 3in(76.2mm))fall.

I just checked my personal weather station:

October 2012 = 9 days
November 2012 = 8
December 2012 = 4
January 2013 = 7
February = 1
March = 4
April = 12
May = 11
June = 13
July = 1
August = 7
September = 8

TOTAL = 85 days in the past year

148 days with 0.01 inch or more. That translates to about 0.25mm.
My guess is about 115 to 120 days with 1mm or more, most of it rain.

89 days of 0.04 inches (1mm) of precip per year. Most was 111 days in 2008. Based on Midway airport data since 1928. For 0.01 inches (0.3mm) or more we see 110 days a year with the most being 133 in 1972.
