Which of the five scenarios is the most dangerous to caught outside?

A) Getting lost walking in the woods in jeans and a cotton hoodie at 25 F and a steady wet snowfall and a light wind of 10 mph. No extra clothes or blankets for protection. Your jeans and hoodie get soaked from the wet snow.

B) Getting lost in a desert in temperatures of 115 F with no shade anywhere in sight. Dewpoints are 40 F but you have no water with you.

C) Getting lost in a swamp with temperatures of 99 F with a dewpoint of 90 F. No rain is falling.

D) Getting lost in a swamp in a torrential downpour with a temperature of 86 F and a dewpoint of 86 F

E) Getting lost on a tundra with protective waterproof outer layers and warm wool, layered clothes underneath at a temperature of -40 F with a stiff breeze creating a windchill of -60 F.

Bear in mind the swamp is likely to have lots of poisonous snakes and other dangerous creatures that could inflict death on you before the weather conditions did.

I pick the desert scenario as the most dangerous. You can't survive without water for long not to mention all the snakes and scorpions in the desert. Wet snow would be next followed by the swamp scenarios and finally tundra assuming you have all the warm clothes you need.

I agree that the dehydration would kill you relatively quickly in a hot desert but the snakes and gators and other creatures in the swamp are far more dangerous cuz it would be a lot easier for them to sneak up on you with all the vegetation. In a desert, if you are awake and alert, you can avoid the poisonous critters cuz you'd be able to see them and run . Not so in the Bayou or Everglades......one wrong step on a cottonmouth snake and you're a gonner

Ever seen those survival shows on the Discovery Channel?

It's about people getting lost and finding their way out in all of the above circumstances.

Never seen that show.. but there is one I saw called Survivorman. It's a Canadian show where a guy is dropped off in various wildernesses around the world (tundra, jungle, desert, boreal forest etc.) and only has basic tools and his wits and he has to survive on his own for a week. He was able to do them all but the desert seemed the hardest from what I could see IMO.
