Been having morning frost since at least Mid October.
We are often much cooler than areas a lot further North from us. I assume because of our high altitude (an average elevation of 1,452 feet above sea level). and being very close to the Geograpical Center of the North American Continent we are as far from any ocean as one can possibly be in North America

Tomorrow, we reach a low of 29 F. On Monday we reach a low of 23 F. Highs will be in the low-mid 40's on Monday. Unfortunately, there is zero chance of precipitation. A 23 F night with precipitation is fun .
Here in Indianapolis the first freeze of the season happened on October 22nd. Then came the killing freeze of 26 Degrees, the coldest low temperature so early in the fall season since Oct.19th, 1992, when the low plunged to 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
Average first freeze:
LGA Airport: Nov 24
JFK Airport: Nov 20
Central Park: Nov 20
We're getting closer. I hope we make it through November unscathed though.
