I wear more layers in any conditions cooler than this.

How often does it get that warm in England. I heard that 27 C days occur only 10 times a year on average .

Even less in Buxton. Only once this year, and that was in July. London and the SE might get it about 10 times a year.

What are we doing?

Are we hanging out outside all day?

Or just going about business (running errands, etc)?

Cuz if we're running errands and going here or there, I will wear a tshirt from 40 degrees up.

If we are hanging out outside, I will need to put on a sweatshirt eventually, unless we're playing hard.

Which is basically deep winter in Texas, hence you wear a t-shirt year round.

I cant run errands without a sweatshirt below 65 F. My tropical skin cries for protection within seconds of exposure to chillness. Me and my friends never hang out when temperatures drop below 55 F. I got stuck in the bus stop yesterday night when it was 39 F, and in spite of wearing a hoodie with a woolen sweater and thermal undershirt, my body was frozen numb within minutes. Heck, my friend was shivering in a winter coat with gloves while waiting with me (granted he is also from the tropics).

Below 22/23c I feel it quite uncomfortanble to wear only a T-shirt, especially If it is nit sunny. With a strong sunbit is possible to feel comfortable with a T-shirt with lower temp.

If doing sport, wearing T-shirt by only 12c is Ok.
