On both Sunday and Monday it actually got up to the 40s, and 50s here... this is unseasonably warm for here. Then just a few minutes ago I looked at the thermometer in my bathroom and it was 0.7 ... Right now we are having a white-out blizzard, they had to shut down i-35!!
But I can deal with the cold, it's only bad about 4 months out of the year, I can deal.

E Kansas
Midnight Temperature: 54F
12PM temperature 14F
We went from having showers to having white out conditions with -10F windchills this afternoon. I would say about 1 inch accumulation with drifts.
The cold front this morning was strong!

You guys who live in warm climates are funny! Sure, make us up here feel bad.
It's now minus 3/windchill minus 20. AND the coldest part of the morning is yet to come. It's times like this that I really question if going out and planting a palm tree here would be sensible.

Jammie I wish I could send you some sunshine. It's actually a bit chilly here this morning. It's 67 now and overcast. Yesterday was even cooler in the AM but a beautiful day and it warmed up into the 70's.
Could you imagine if the weather here was like that all the time? We're packed as it is. We'd end up worse than sardines in a can! :-))
