Right now in Washburn, Maine it is 19 and a light snow again.
Heard on the weather radio today that we have had 14.1" of snow this month, and a season total so far of 115". That is 45" above normal for this time in the season. And 29" on the ground right now. We usually get another 40" from today to the end of the season. We should do alright for snowfall this year because we still have another 6 weeks of traditional snowfall potential.

BITE YOUR TONGUE!
Yeah it isn't that bad really. A few weeks of bitter cold, a few months of just plain cold, and snow all the way through this year. You might have heard that "it's too cold to snow" well I can assure you I have never seen it that cold, don't think I care to either. I have seen it snow like a mad man at -30 actual and the windchills hovering around -80 or -90 on the new chart.

If feels a little arctic like in E Kansas. Current temp is 4F with 5 inches of snow on the ground. The wind is calm.

What is a little strange is that the temite bugs can survive the mild winters here Therefore pest control is a must considering the brutal cold does not kill all the bugs this far south in latitude.
