today, I woke up to Melbourne rain, went to uni in Melbourne rain, and came home in Melbourne rain. The Melbourne rain has stopped for once now, leaving with it Melbourne gloom. Wish I could jjust go to sleep and not wake up until December.

Another trend-setting day with a low of 41 and high of 54.

Forecast has 3 fine days next week with temps not seen in months, reaching an incredible 60F or even more Better dust off that aircon and fill the tub with ice coz this sudden burst of scorching heat (aka first 3 days this month of AVERAGE temps) might cause mass discomfort.

I just went for a walk with the dogs...and I just found out the hard way that unless you stay on the concrete, you need gumboots.

Well, after several weeks of cool, low humidity weather, we're getting warm and humid today, with sporadic rainshowers. Supposed to reach 85 degrees with higher humidity. Tomorrow is also sporadic showers and high humidity until night time when a cold front pushes in an drives out the heat and humidity. WOO HOO! Sunday through Wednesday are cool (in the 70s) with low humidity.

Best summer ever. End of story.

Maximum temperature is 18°C, and at the moment (5.15 PM) it is 16°C in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Paris in France has a maximum of 17°C, which is normal for late Autumn.

People say that this is the worst August in 20 years.

It's kind of funny how some of you are happy when your dewpoint and humidity are low. Some of us are the exact opposite.

It's nearly 11 am and it's 73 degrees with no heat index. It's cloudy and feels a bit chilly cause the winds are 14 gusting to 24 mph. (Mostly the 24 mph) Our forecast is for 80 degrees today and our average is still 84.

Yesterday we hit 82, but since our dewpoint and humidity are low, I'm not feeling too warm.

So Chicago didn't get a lot of rain this summer?

In Toronto it feels like summer just started this week since tropical storm Fay stopped our crazy monsoonal rain.
