Isn't August supposed to be summer?
In theory it still is summer in Canada, but I'm pretending it's fall, so I can lie to myself that I'm experiencing warm fall weather; makes me feel better.

Our low will probably bottom out around 50 F, give or take.
Brrr...
That sounds pretty foul, reminds me of last February. The march ended up being a full 3ºC warmer on average! In 2005, April was warmer than February by a few tenths of a degree!

72F in what is supposed to summer sucks majorly! Surprised to see you of al people describe that as pleasant summer day

When we moved here everyone kept telling us, "If ya don't like the weather just wait 15 minutes...it'll change" We thought they were kidding...

Here are some you tube vids I found from my town. (and MY neighborhood! )
Last Summer:

YouTube - Duncan Flood
Watch the guy at the end.

YouTube - Rain drops keep falling on my head

That one washed cars down the Highway like they were toys... 2 days later, you couldn't tell anything had happened.

November '06

YouTube - Snow storm 06

Oh, and a spatula is an Okie Ice Scraper. I broke mine last year.

Yes but at least it's winter weather there. Our springs and autumns are not even that warm normally.

For the warmest time of year, the best time to go barefoot, it's not nearly as nice as it could be.
